The Story

This premaxillary tooth was found in the Hell Creek Formation of Montana and belonged to a Tyrannosaurus rex. Though the tip is missing, the tooth still retains visible serrations on one side and shows the classic D-shaped cross-section typical of front jaw teeth.

No repair or restoration.

Tyrannosaurus rex, or T. rex, is one of the most iconic and fearsome dinosaurs to ever walk the Earth. Living around 66 million years ago during the Late Cretaceous, this massive predator could reach over 40 feet in length and weigh up to 10 tons. With powerful jaws lined with bone-crushing teeth and strong, muscular legs, T. rex was built for hunting—and possibly scavenging. Despite its tiny arms, it was the apex predator of its time. Fossils have been found across western North America, offering a thrilling glimpse into the life of this legendary dinosaur.
